Regional Account Executive - Florida

About the job:

The Account Executive is directly responsible for nurturing leads, closing accounts, and developing relationships within the industry to identify and cultivate opportunities. In this role it is critical to identify and navigate purchasing hierarchies, develop and support internal champions, and increase our exposure within organizations.

You’ll be directly responsible for the customer journey from lead to account signing. Once signed, you’ll work directly with a Customer Success Specialist to start them on a long term partnership with us. It is critical to ensure the customer sees the value and has a realistic idea of what long term success will look like. You will be responsible for creating new ways to expand business growth and thrive in the face of competition.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop an intimate knowledge of our products, system capabilities, and solutions
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales benchmarks and strive to exceed them
  • Maintain active sales pipeline of at least 30 potential customers at all times
  • Maintain active sales funnel of at least 8 potential customers at all times
  • Maintain program to meet active cold call goals
  • Be the primary point of contact for all new customer inquiries
  • Answer the direct phone line, help emails, and customer chats in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Schedule recurring and conduct ad-hoc sales demonstrations for leads, in-person or online
  • Work to develop and deliver continually improving, targeted sales demonstrations and maintain consistency across all sales and marketing messages
  • Employ a consultative approach - assist customers with best practices, product questions and troubleshooting and generate/deliver accurate and timely sales quotes
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Manage customer relationships in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue and obtain additional business
  • Work with the Customer Success Team to schedule and conduct regular check-ins to ensure that customers are effectively using Parking Boss, are aware of new features and capabilities, and have up-to-date records
  • Work with the Customer Success Team and Operations Team to assist customers with material orders or account upgrades
  • Proactively analyze accounts to identify under-use, upgrade, and referral potential• Resolve billing issues in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner
  • Update our sales/CRM/accounting systems with all applicable information
  • Assist Operations Team with shipping and receiving, including occasional delivery
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested

  • This role will require the ability to work outside of traditional 8am-5pm business hours; after hours and weekend work will be required
  • Ability to drive/travel within market to present demos, training, attend meetings/conferences/trade shows

Our ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing sales and/or service; apartment/property management or business-to-business is preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and phone skills
  • Comfortable interacting in person, over the phone, and via online chat/conference/webinar
  • Experience in sales, sales support and up-selling are a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Can-do attitude with a service-oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Passion to educate, service and sell
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of improvement and growth, both personal and company

  • Demo requests are answered quickly and efficiently
  • Increased brand awareness across all markets and channels; Parking Boss is known as the go-to solution
  • Get referral opportunities for new customers
  • Marketing opportunities (quotes, case study candidates)
  • We have an accurate picture of who our customers are and how they are doing
  • Partnering with the Director of Accounts and Customer Success Specialist(s), net negative churn, that is, more new revenue (upgrades & add-ons) from existing customers than the revenue lost from cancellations
